Bhatkal


Bhatkal is a small town located in Uttara kannada dist, Karnataka, India. Bhatkal once ruled by Jain King Bhattakalanka and thus the name. Bhatkal is one of the major town between Mangalore and Mumbai with traffic access to railways, seaways and roadways. The people of Muslim and Hindu lives here majorly. The Muslims over here are said to be migrated from various Arabian countries before many decades. The people here are called as 'bhatkalis' . Kannada is the predominant language of Bhatkal. Though the Muslims over here verbalize majorly the language Nawayathi. The town has hefty business shop outlets especially with international products. The town is famed all over India and abroad because of their educational institution under the management Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen. The Anjuman offer educational facilities for students from lower class to professional class. The Anjuman Engineering College at Bhatkal is one of their best institute in the country. Apart from the beautiful places nearby, the Bhatkal is blessed with beautiful men and women too. The Bhatkal town is sandwiched amid to beautiful hills and sea.
