Murdeshwar Beach






Murudeshwar is the attractive tourist destination near to Bhatkal. Its just 15 km away from Bhatkal town. From Shamsudeen circle in Bhatkal, bus in each 10 minute is departing to Murudeshwar and returning buses are available at Murudeshwar up-to 8 o’clock in the night.

Describing the place, it is famed with a temple and the world’s second largest lord Shiva statue. The temple and lord Shiva statue is the major attraction of the place. In order to attract foreigners and more travelers, the place has a beautiful resort and a hotel which are placed on the seashore for making the place much more attractive. While walking on the path around to lord Shiva statue we will get a beautiful view to nearby islands, different angular view to lord Shiva and other statue and to nearby beaches.

Small park with little water amusements are also available to make the kids happy. The place has an astonishing beach along with beach activities like speed boating, para gliding and boating.

Also to welcome travelers, the beach serve many local item foods and some are yummy fish fry, Pani Puri, Masala Puri etc. Murudeshwar attain its best beauty during sunset and with the night light. So don't miss it. So evening will be the best time to visit.

Jali beach


Out of many beaches in Bhatkal, Jali beach is a favorite. What makes the beach favorite is the beautiful island view. 
The beach is calm, quite and rid of crowd visitors that suits best for a family. If you are a good photographer be ready because you may find beautiful sea assets like corals, sea horses, sea plants, stones or kind of things on the seashore. One area of beach has plenty of trees, so if you tired, rest in shades.




The beach is just 5 km away from the Bhatkal town. Anyone can find a taxi from Bhatkal town to reach here easily. If interested, rental bicycles are available in Bhatkal town for a cycle ride.

Bhatkal is a small town located in Uttara kannada dist, Karnataka, India. Bhatkal once ruled by Jain King Bhattakalanka and thus the name. Bhatkal is one of the major town between Mangalore and Mumbai with traffic access to railways, seaways and roadways. The people of Muslim and Hindu lives here majorly.
